In adherence to MTO guidelines, BDE (Beginner’s Driver Education) packages provide mandatory 20 hours of virtual/self paced video training along with 10 hours of in-vehicle training. The virtual training modules are specially designed to help drivers learn effective driving skills and to identify potential road hazards and solutions, that too, from the comfort of their home.
In-vehicle training is one-on-one training that is customized based on individual needs, and includes some essential driving techniques to protect yourself, the passengers, and other drivers on the roads.
