U CAN DRIVE POLICY
COURSE COMPLETION
Students must adhere to attendance requirements as given by MTO. Please be informed that 100% attendance is mandatory for 20 hours virtual/self-paced sessions, 10 hours in-vehicle training, and 10 hours student workbook.
Students must obtain a score of at least 80% virtual/self-paced sessions and 80% in-vehicle training. Students shall be responsible for makeup for any missed sessions. As per MTO regulations, if a student fails to complete the full course within 12 months timeframe, the course must start again at the student’s expense. The course fee shall be NOT REFUNDABLE.
IN-VEHICLE TRAINING
In-Vehicle training/ lessons shall be coordinated between the student and the instructor. Please be informed that in case of student’s unavailability for the in-vehicle lesson, student must notify the instructor at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellation and no show shall be charged an additional $40, to be paid before the next in-vehicle lesson. Some conditions may apply on free pick-up and drop off, please call for details.
G1 LICENCE
As per adherence to the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) requirements, every student must provide a copy of their G-1 License (Front & Back) to the in-vehicle/virtual training instructor.
Note: If a student does not have their G1 Licence, he/she can obtain the License within 8 weeks of completing the virtual/self-paced sessions of their course. After the completion of the full course, the student is recommended to receive his/her Driver’s License History from Service Ontario, as proof of completion of the course from the driving school. It generally takes up to 10 business days (after the last in-vehicle lesson) to update the information with the ministry.
CHANGE OF ADDRESS
Change of address shall be notified to the instructor immediately along with the copies of the new License stating the new address.

U Can Drive Driving School, being the sole owner of the information provided by a customer, is committed to protecting your privacy on our website. Your information will be confidential, and we will not sell, disseminate, disclose, trade, transmit, transfer, share, lease or rent any personally identifiable information to any third party, unless otherwise stated in the Policy. We shall not be liable for any unlawful acts of others if the information is ever stolen, viewed, downloaded, or retrieved by another party against our privacy rules.
